Our Process

Top Right Corner worked closely with The FOX Special Operations and Marketing teams to combine the worlds of the hit television show The Masked Singer, with the new animated movie Scoob!

Dan Clifton and the Top Right Corner team worked in conjunction with Pixel Dash Studios to create a series of digital sets from the ground up. The development team utilized the exact schematics and LIDAR (laser imaging scans) taken from the original set of The Masked Singer. VFX Supervisor and Producer David Van Dyke provided further photogrammetry and mapping support.

Once the digital set for The Masked Singer stage was created in Unity, the creative team was able to pre-visualize the promo.

Top Right Corner shot with actor Ken Jeong on a stage, using our digital/virtual sets to fill out the world in post-production. Check out the original spot and the post-workflow breakdown to learn more about the entire process!

“My team and I were granted amazing access to The Masked Singer set and we were given every opportunity to recreate the look and feel of the show in a virtual world. It was really fun and exciting to combine a virtual set with a practical performer and a silly costume - with an animated Scooby Doo.”

Dan Clifton, director of The Masked Singer Scoob!
